Day 10: Tromsø – Oslo – Berlin
We had to leave early for the “Flybuss”, airport express coach, which leaves at the Grand Nordic Hotel. From there we went beneath a mountain to reach the Tromsø Airport. We had another long stop at Oslo-Gardermoen Airport before we would continue to Berlin.
Norway is a Scandinavian country known for its mountains, glaciers and deeply cut coastal fjords. While I haven’t been able to see the capital of Oslo, or Bergen, which is said to be popular starting point for boat trips into the dramatic Sognefjord with its typical colorful wooden houses, the Lofoten islands proved to be a perfect get-away. I really look forward to coming back to Norway. There’s still so much left to see and experience!
